The Gossamer Gear Thinlight Foam Insulation Pad is the ultimate lightweight sleeping pad for minimalists. Versatile with 12 different uses - from enhancing your sleep system’s insulation to serving as a convenient yoga mat on the trail - this pad is a must-have for ultralight backpackers. While the exact R-Value isn’t officially rated due to foam density variations, independent data estimates it at 0.5 for the 1/8" thickness. Minor surface marks or creases are purely cosmetic and don’t impact performance. Sized to fit medium packs perfectly without trimming, with slight size variations possible.

Over 20 years ago, our founder Glen Van Peski realized that traveling lighter on and off trail is simply… better. Since the early days of hand-sewing each pack to order in Glen’s garage, we’ve remained committed to asking ourselves one question: Is this the right thing to do?
