Ultralight Adventure Equipment (ULA) was established in 2001 by Pacific Crest Trail hiker Brian Frankle, who recognised a need for durable yet lightweight backpacking equipment. 15 years later, nearly half the hikers completing this arduous 2,660 mile trail were carrying a ULA pack.
