Versatile, lightweight, waterproof storage for all your adventures. The updated Lightweight Dry Bag is Sea to Summit's all rounder design.

Sea to Summit's Lightweight Dry Bags are available in a range of colours for colour-coded packing and to show off your personal backcountry style. Using the same non-wicking hypalon roll-top as Sea to Summit's other dry bags, they are reliably waterproof. The oval base prevents the dry bag from rolling away, potentially disastrous when you're having lunch at the top of a 200m sea cliff or next to a roiling river! The inside of the dry bag features a waterproof polyurethane coating that is bright white to reflect the light of a head torch and help you find small items in bad light (this can be a lifesaver at oh-dark-thirty on your summit push).

Perfect for hiking, bike packing, paddle touring, or however you explore.

Features

  • bluesign® APPROVED recycled 70D nylon fabric uses a PFC-free DWR finish.
  • Light-reflecting white interior for better visibility of gear.

  • D-ring attachment point at buckle for securing to boats, bikes, kayaks.
  • Closure: Non-wicking hypalon roll-top closure.
  • Features 15mm 2-pin field repair buckle.

Sea To Summit

Sea to Summit invent gear that enables freedom and self-reliance in an environment.

They take their adventure and gear seriously, but Aussie humour lightens any journey. Approaching life with directness, candour and integrity, doing what they know is right to build products and relationships that last.

As a young outdoor enthusiast, Roland Tyson (founder of Sea To Summit) had a passion and a talent for creating cutting-edge outdoor equipment for his own adventurers, and soon for other Australian adventurers. By 1991, after outfitting an unusual first ascent of Mt. Everest (a 1126+ kilometre, 8848 metres in elevation trek from sea level to a solo summit), Sea to Summit was born.

Sea to Summit are surfers, hikers, bikers, paddlers, sailors—lovers of outdoor spaces and are inspired by the freedom those spaces provide. Stewardship of the natural environment is as important to them as the creation of new products, and they purposefully make gear that lasts and can be easily repaired.

Sea to Summit invent gear that enables freedom and self-reliance in any environment—and believe it is imperative that same environment be around for future generations of adventurers to enjoy. The meaningful steps they are making towards improving their environmental and social impact, and the commitment to being transparent about their progress is the only way to guarantee they do their part in making that happen.

In 2022, Sea to Summit successfully transitioned from an owner-modelled business to a solid private equity backed business. The certified B-Corporation and Australian investment firm, Five V Capital, signed an agreement with Sea to Summit to become the majority shareholder. This marks an important milestone in Sea to Summit’s history as the brand becomes a global player in the outdoor industry, continuing to grow and expand.
