Though each Patagonia® product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, the fit descriptions can be generalised in four ways:

Formfitting Conforms to the body's contours.
Slim Fit Closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers.
Regular Fit Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers.
Relaxed Fit Drapes loosely on the body.

Simple, unpretentious rain protection built to Patagonia's H2No Performance Standard. The Torrentshell 3L is a 3-layer waterproof/breathable shell that stays comfortable over long days and holds up to sustained wet weather, with the fabric, membrane and DWR finish all made without intentionally added PFAS. Welted, two-way side zips run cuff to thigh for easy pull-on over boots and double as vents when you warm up, while snap-tab elasticised cuffs and two storm-flapped handwarmer pockets round out a practical, packable rain pant. Offered in two inseam lengths so you can match the leg to your height.
