Patagonia's Granite Crest Rain Jacket is built for all-day movement on the trail in wet conditions, from day walks to multi-day hikes. A 3-layer, 100% recycled NetPlus nylon ripstop face, made from recycled fishing nets, meets Patagonia's H2No® Performance Standard for exceptional waterproof/breathable protection, with the fabric, membrane and DWR finish made without intentionally added PFAS. A two-way-adjustable hood with a laminated visor sheds water and gives good visibility with or without a helmet. Watertight zips protect the centre-front zipper and chest pocket, while two welt handwarmer pockets and two-way pit zips stay clear of a pack waistbelt or harness. The jacket self-stuffs into its own left-chest pocket, with an adjustable hem drawcord routed through the front pockets to seal out weather. Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory.

“We're in business to save our home planet."

Patagonia, Inc. is an American manufacturer of outdoor recreation clothing. It was founded by Yvon Chouinard in 1973 and is based in Ventura, California. Patagonia operates stores in more than 10 countries globally, as well as factories in 16 countries.

Patagonia’s core values include building the best product, causing no unnecessary harm, using business to protect nature, and not being bound by convention. Patagonia implements various sustainable business practices, such as using organic cotton, recycled materials, and responsibly sourced materials like down. The company also upholds animal welfare standards and promotes supplier transparency.

Patagonia focuses on selling durable products that last for generations and can be recycled. The Worn Wear program encourages consumers to repair and recycle items rather than discarding them. Repair guides are provided, and repair services are offered free of charge at Repair Hubs and Patagonia stores.

Since 1985, Patagonia has committed 1% of all sales revenue to the “1% for the Planet” program, directing funds to environmental initiatives and organizations. Consumers can also donate to climate-focused investments through the 1% for the Planet Impact Fund at National Philanthropic Trust.
