The Montane Windjammer is a 30g windproof beanie designed to sit under a climbing helmet or be worn on its own on cold, exposed days. A band of Windstopper by Gore-Tex Labs wraps the headband and ears, blocking wind where it bites hardest, with a recycled micro-grid fleece backer for warmth. The crown switches to Apex Thermo, a soft, brushed four-way stretch knit that breathes and wicks during sustained effort, with POLYGIENE® odour control for multi-day use. An ergonomic shape covers the ears, and flatlocked seams lie flat under a helmet or hood. It suits alpine routes, winter hiking, snow camping and cold-weather trail running, and weighs little enough to live in a pack all season.
