The Alta Lite takes the mountain protection of Montane's flagship shell and trims it for lighter, faster days in the hills. A lightweight 40 denier Gore-Tex Pro construction with the PFC-free ePE membrane holds a 28,000mm hydrostatic head with genuine breathability, while Barrier and Storm Guard construction seals the hems and openings against the weather. The helmet-compatible Pivot 3 hood adjusts three ways, harness and pack-compatible hand pockets sit clear of a belt, and reduced seams and taping lift breathability while cutting weight. Built on the Mountain Fit block with room to layer, a dropped rear hem and articulated sleeves, it is a packable Gore-Tex shell for year-round alpine use.
