Your torso length, not your height, determines your pack size. HMG recommend the following to determine yours:

1. Tilt your head slightly forward to locate the bony bump at the base of your neck. (This is your 7th cervical (or C7) vertebra).

2. Using a flexible tape measure, have someone measure starting at that spot and running down along the curve of your spine.

3. Place your hands on your hips so you can feel your iliac crest, which serves as the “shelf" of your pelvic girdle. (It's the first hard thing you feel when you run your fingers down from the sides of your ribcage.) Position your hands so your thumbs are reaching behind you.

4. Have your friend finish measuring at the point where the tape crosses an imaginary line drawn between your thumbs. This distance is your torso length.

Extra Small: (< 15.0" torso)
Small: (15.0" - 17.0" torso)
Medium: (17.0" - 19.0" torso)
Large: (19.0" - 21.0" torso)
Tall: (21.0"+ torso)

If your measurement falls right in between sizes (for example, if you have a 17.0" torso, so you are right on the line between a Small and a Medium), we suggest you choose the larger torso size.

Whether you're carrying extra water across remote terrain, tackling technical sections with an ice axe, or simply looking for a streamlined pack that performs in all conditions, the Pemi 15 is designed to help you move faster and go further.

Materials: ALUULA 97 features an UHMWPE Aluula Core, providing a balance of durability, weight, water protection, and next generation welding technology.
Capacity: 15L capacity for extra equipment and layers needed for long days.
Shoulder Straps: Full connection vest harness keeps center of gravity close and limits pack bounce. Features a highly breathable air mesh for maximum comfort.
Back Panel: Welded foam back panel contours to the wearer's back and provides the necessary structure for comfortably carrying the additional weight required for longer days and fringe conditions.
Hydration System: Hydration bladder compatible back panel allows for threading the hydration hose throughout the vest, maximizing running efficiency. Bladder compartment is entirely outside of the pack, providing additional protection to the inside of the pack.
External Carry: Vest harness features multiple pockets: 2 flask pockets, 2 front swoop pockets, 2 zippered pockets, 2 side swoop pockets, and an adjustable sternum system. A low-profile whistle integrated into the wearer's right flask pocket adds easy-access safety utility.
External Pockets: A durable UWMHPE stretch mesh front pocket provides quick, secure storage for wet layers, complemented by full-length, low-profile daisy chains that offer limitless lashing options for your external gear.
Access: #5 YKK Side Zipper features two sliders for rapid access to contents of the pack.
Top Closure: Roll-top closure system with vertical compression straps allows you to adjust the pack's volume, keeping the load compact, stable and protected from weather.
Top Compression Straps: Removable over the top strap mates to a welded UHMWPE webbing loop for additional compression or storage.
Side Straps: Two removable corded hooks provide on-the-go pole storage on the underside of the pack. Vertical pole carry compressions straps also provide an efficient way to store an ice axe.
