55 days on the Camino Vía de la Plata
Ever wondered what it’s like to take two months off from life and trek 1000kms in a country where you: don’t speak the language, walk in unbearable heat, feel isolated and vulnerable. Wanting to experience more of ‘what a full life could be’, Mike and Cici, walked the Camino Via de la Plata in Spain, the lesser known, and more remote, Camino (compared to the Camino Frances made famous by the film, The Way, with Charlie Sheen). They discovered that choosing to walk a spiritual pilgrimage (in Cici’s case), or, take an adventure a world away from Corporate Life (in Mike’s case), was a very different experience from the books and films that inspired them.
