You can sit upright in the inner tent, and you can enter it comfortably without exposing it to the weather. The SL version has been enlarged compared to its predecessor, and is now suitable for persons up to 1.85cm. There is a small vestibule to store your gear, and the vent is now positioned in the door. The Firefly is quite wind-stable without any guylines, due to the streamlined shape and the tension on the crossing poles. These are, like all LuxeOutdoor poles, manufactured by Yunan.
The weight of 1458 grams (fly+nest+poles) is respectable, and makes the firefly a great value for money deal for solo-sleepers. Aluminium Y-style pegs and a footprint are included.
