Though each Patagonia® product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, the fit descriptions can be generalised in four ways:

Formfitting Conforms to the body's contours.
Slim Fit Closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers.
Regular Fit Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers.
Relaxed Fit Drapes loosely on the body.

Patagonia's R1 Air Fleece Midlayer Full-Zip Hoody is a lightweight, breathable technical fleece built for cool-weather activity, with a full-zip design for easy on-off and quick venting on the move. A 100% recycled polyester jacquard fleece with hollow-core yarns wicks moisture and dries fast, while a zigzag-knit pattern boosts airflow and keeps the fabric compressible with minimal bulk in a slim fit. The slim-fit hood layers comfortably under a helmet or shell hood, and offset shoulder seams sit comfortably under pack straps. A zippered left-chest pocket and two low-bulk front pockets carry small essentials, and quick-drying woven binding at the back hem and cuffs keeps the fit clean over repeated wear. Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory.
