Sharing a single-wall shelter usually means sharing the condensation problem too, but The Two is built to handle both people and moisture properly. Custom ClearSkies fabric — a 15D recycled Robic base with a dope-dyed ripstop SIL/PU coating — pushes hydrostatic head to 4,923mm, nearly matching heavy-duty mountaineering shelters while staying feather-light. Two retractable corner vents pull condensation out overnight, and the integrated Fritsch Hitch guyline system pitches the tub floor taut for maximum usable space. A 124.5cm peak height suits sitting up comfortably, and two doors with independent vestibules give each occupant their own entry and gear storage. Six aluminium stakes, guyline and a clothesline come standard; only trekking poles are sold separately.

Gossamer Gear

At Gossamer Gear, “take less. do more.” goes beyond a slogan or hashtag.

It serves as a reminder to maintain our relentless drive to eliminate the unnecessary in life, and focus on what’s important and worthy of “doing” to serve our customers, our community, and our wild places.

For over two decades Gossamer Gear has been shedding every possible gram while elevating performance, comfort, and durability. Their commitment, creativity, and grit drives our innovative pack, shelter, and trekking pole designs. We know that carrying less frees you to do more - more miles, more fun, and more awesome experiences.

Over 20 years ago, our founder Glen Van Peski realized that traveling lighter on and off trail is simply… better. Since the early days of hand-sewing each pack to order in Glen’s garage, we’ve remained committed to asking ourselves one question: Is this the right thing to do?

While the answer isn’t always a clear yes or no, the process of answering this question always puts us on the right track.

Gossamer Gear are committed to reducing our environmental impact because we recognize that it's our responsibility.

Their biggest goals are to always have something in the works, to evolve our approach to sustainability, and to enrich our communities along the way. Know that we apply the same integrity, care, and excellence with these projects as we do our product innovation.
